28 an hour ELEVENTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE, DIV II The McKinley County District Attorney's Office, Gallup, New Mexico is seeking qualified applicants for a Legal Assistant.
Applicants should show extensive knowledge of the criminal justice system.
Job duties include, but not limited to data entry, using the State's Case Management System (CMS), scanning documents, working with warrants and law enforcement reports, downloading videos, preparation of legal documents and correspondence, requesting discovery, answering phones, typing, copying, filing, assists with picking up and dropping off documents with law enforcement agencies.
Incumbent must understand all aspects of WEB, CMS, Word Perfect, Excel, Outlook, and various other computer programs.
This position requires a High School diploma or GED, plus two (2) years of work experience in a related field.
Annual salary range is dependent on experience.
Background checks are required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
